The Southern Crescent AAA Wellness Program involves promotion of healthy living, healthy eating and exercise. The program provides for services such as nutrition screening, nutrition education and nutrition counseling as well as medications management services. The Southern Crescent Wellness Coordinator provides quarterly nutrition training to senior center staff and kitchen workers as well as plans and performs nutrition analysis for menus served throughout the ten county service area.

The event will be held on Thursday, October 25th at West Georgia Technical College, Callaway Center located at 303 Fort Drive, LaGrange, Georgia from 9:00a.m. to 1:00p.m. with lunch provided.

Pre registration is required through your local Senior Center

Event activities will include a fun walk, various health screening opportunities, food demonstrations, fun games, pet therapy, entertainment, community resources, and much, much more. See the event flyer.
