    The Medicare Open Enrollment Period Has Changed: Please take note the Medicare Open Enrollment has changed to October 15th - December 7th of each year. GeorgiaCares is the State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) and Senior Medicare Patrol (SMP). GeorgiaCares can help you compare plans to narrow down your choices as well as assist new Medicare beneficiaries with all of their options. For assistance during open enrollment or obtain Medicare information, call GeorgiaCares at 1-866-55-AGING (1-866-552-4464) and press option 4 to reach your local GeorgiaCares office.
