The OACSEP consists of the provision of services to assist older
persons with subsidized employment opportunities and to obtain
unsubsidized employment.
Elements of the program may include assessment of skills
and abilities, upgrading of job seeking skills, employability
training, development of individual development plans, job
placement into unsubsidized employment and follow up activities.
The
West Central Georgia Workforce Development Corporation in Griffin Georgia operates the OACSEP program for
ten county region including Butts, Carroll,
Coweta, Heard, Lamar, Meriwether, Pike, Spalding, Troup and
Upson Counties.
Program
enrollees earn wages of $6.55 or more per hour. Contact
