Tax Deductible Contributions Tax deductible contributions can be made at any time during the year. You don't have to wait until tax time to consider making a contribution toward improving the life of an elderly or disabled person. For years, our programs and services have been specifically designed to assist persons age 60 and older and in 2006 we added a service base designed to assist consumers, caregivers, and providers in obtaining information and assistance for disabled adults through our ADRC Program. You can make a general donation that will be distributed to our program with the most need or you can review our service options and specifically designate the service or program of your choice.
State of Georgia Income Tax Check-Off Annually, the Southern Crescent Area Agency on Aging, publishes public service announcements regarding the Income Tax Check-Off Fund for Georgia's Children and Elderly. Through your state income taxes you can contribute to your local community by checking the appropriate box on the State of Georgia Income Tax Form. The fund distributes the proceeds statewide to programs for special needs children and the elderly. Collections in the Southern Crescent Region provide home delivered meals to the elderly. You can give to the fund by checking off line 27 on the Georgia Income Tax Form 500, or checking off line 11 on the Georgia Income Tax Form 500ez, or you can add dollars to your tax payment and indicate that you are contributing to the fund.
Direct Contributions Tax deductible contributions can be made directly at any time so please call today for specific details 706-407-0016 or 678-552-2853 or 1-866-854-5652. |
